I have been training at an elite level of Olympic Sport Taekwondo for over 10 years. In 2006 and 2007 I was the Female Fly Weight US. National Team Member. I competed in the 2006 Pan American Championships, placing 3rd, and in the 2007 World Taekwondo Championships. Throughout my many years of competing I went to the gym regularly, but was never quite sure what strength and conditioning exercises to do or even the correct amount of weight to be using.
I took a break from Takekwondo for a short period of time due to some inconsistencies in my training structure and my unhealthy dieting habits from losing weight to ensure that I made my designated weight division. Upon my return in 2009 to Taekwondo training and competing in several National and international competitions, I wanted to return to the sport healthy and confident in my training program so that I would not go through the difficult times I had in the past.
I began working with Judah Clarke in the spring of 2010. Judah designed a personalized workout program for both inside and outside the gym. This program includes strength and conditioning drills, weight lifting and cardio all tailored to my competitive Taekwondo goals. His guidance helped me improve my endurance, explosiveness, and overall athletic ability. Not only did he help me improve my physical strength and condition, but he also helped me improve my eating and dieting habits leading up to major competitions. Judah created a meal plan that taught me how to eat healthy, lose weight in a timely and effective manner, all while keeping my muscle mass and energy. He showed me that I could lose weight for my competition division and stay happy and healthy during the process.
With Judah’s training, help and encouragement, I won the 2010 and 2011 U.S. National Championships. I highly recommend Judah to anyone looking for a better training structure and to any athlete that is searching for extra physical and nutritional sports training they will not find anywhere else.
